Medicine Reaction, Tinnitus
Many prescription and nonprescription medicines can cause ringing in the ears (tinnitus). A few examples are:
- Aspirin, ibuprofen (such as Advil or Motrin), and naproxen (such as Aleve).
- Some blood pressure and heart medicines.
- Some antidepressants.
- Some cancer medicines.
