Medicine Reaction, Diarrhea
Many prescription and nonprescription medicines can cause diarrhea. A few examples are:
- Antibiotics.
- Antidepressants.
- Antacids.
- Proton pump inhibitors, such as omeprazole (Prilosec) and lansoprazole (Prevacid).
- Medicines used to treat cancer (chemotherapy).
